Favorite things: the first sip of coffee, watching a Broncos sunrise, a fall hike in the aspens, nice socks, marathon Netflix (currently watching Yellowstone), walks with friends, listening to really loud music in my car (and pretending I can carry a tune), jogging with my black lab (a rescue), my standard outfit (t-shirt, jeans and flip-flops), simmering chili, my son's gut-wrenching laugh, and my house cleaner (life saver!). My father taught me the deeper your friendships, the taller you grow. I believe a hot epsom salt bath with essential oils will cure most worries. I believe that fine cheese + crackers + wine *is* a complete meal should be feasted upon as least once a week. I believe it is all about quality, and not quantity. I believe in having experiences rather than stuff. I believe in living debt-free (and certainly no loans for a wedding!)
Background: Wendee has been coordinating weddings and meetings in Colorado since 1995 when she was an assistant to two wedding coordinators at Keystone Resort. She spent her mid-career as a continuing medical-education meeting planner, traveling all over the U.S. implementing detailed logistics. In 2001, Wendee founded her first full-service wedding & event planning company. Today, Wendee is a high school digital-teacher-librarian, consultant, and planner for intimate destination weddings (small, less than 30 people).
